Ever been assigned to a table full of strangers at a reception and ended up spending all your energy trying to entertaining each other?
I was recently asked to come up with a cheap, edible, and creative wedding favor that would keep the guests entertained without breaking the budget. I presented several options, and the clear winner was – JELLY BEANS.
Jelly beans come in so many colors and flavors, you will have no problem finding one that is right for your reception. But my suggestion went beyond the color and the taste ~ we’ve made it a game at the reception, and we named it “Guest What (Flavor, that is)”.
You Will Need:
Jelly belly in a number of different flavors. If the tables at your reception sits 8 people, have 8 different flavors. To make the game more difficult, use jelly belly in similar colors.

Cello bags or clear favor boxes
Explain the Game to Your Guests – you could have your MC or DJ do this. Alternatively, have an instruction sheet for each table that ask the guests to guess the number of different flavors on their table, and name as many of these flavors as possible. The table that got the most flavors correct wins.
Edible, affordable, functional, fun. Who knew those little jelly beans could take on so much.

I love this idea! The game is cute, but the idea of using Jelly beans itself opens up so many creative possibilities. Plus, they come in so many different colors that you could match your wedding colors perfectly!
